GLOW IN THE DARK METEOR CREATIVE KIT - NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC (NG22817)
General presentation:
Kids will create their own glow-in-the-dark meteorite with this Glow- in-the-Dark Meteorite hands-on science kit. Simply pour the polymer powders into the mold and immerse it in water. Once the mixture hardens, pop the meteorite out of the mold and you'll have a real bouncy ball that glows in the dark!
Kids can use any light source at home to charge the meteorite and make it glow in the dark. The meteorite ball has a diameter of 4 centimeters.
Game value/model
Children will receive enough material to make two bouncy, glow-in-the-dark meteorite balls.
The first step is to mold the ball with phosphorescent polymer powder, orange polymer powder and gray polymer powder.
Once the mixture hardens, children will have a toy they can play with for hours.
SCIENTIFIC ENGAGEMENT: Children will learn the science of polymers, as well as interesting information about meteorites
Put your children's skills to the test with the help of National Geographic science kits. The range includes a variety of creative kits, which will capture the attention and curiosity of children. There is also a science kit for volcanoes or even a crystal kit where children can create their own crystals.
The National Geographic STEM series offers children high-quality educational toys that are great fun!
The Secret Is Science - A detailed guide through which you can learn elements of science through experiments, allowing your child to develop a deep and lasting appreciation for a variety of Earth sciences.
