The proboscis monkey from Schleich® WILD LIFE is a primate that lives in the tropical forests of the Asian island of Borneo.

Males have a strikingly large nose that can reach up to 10 cm in length.

But they do not have a very strong sense of smell. Researchers believe it is used to impress females.

Proboscis monkeys are mammals that are active during the day and live in small groups. They feed on leaves and fruits.
