The Bell AH1 Cobra was an attack helicopter produced by the American manufacturer Bell Helicopter in the mid-1960s.

It is considered to be the first real attack helicopter and was first used during the Vietnam War.

The name "Cobra" means the heavy weapons of the helicopter, which was originally designed as a transport helicopter.
