The material is divided into seven units consisting of two or three lessons. Each unit illustrates a certain communication theme, each lesson presents a particular aspect of that theme.

The starting point is a suggestive image for a certain communication situation. Since at this age children are barely learning the alphabet and their communication with the teacher is oral, the text is minimal.

To help children become familiar with the pronunciation of the new language, the book is accompanied by a CD, which contains dialogues from the lessons and poems that help to fix some auditory skills.
