Work Laboratory at home. Experimente is structured in three chapters, I – First steps in the world of science (18 experiments/practical activities); II – Explorers of the Animal World (40 experiments) and III – Explorers of the Plant World (20 experiments). The experiments are for all ages, some more fun (for middle school students) and others to deepen knowledge (for middle school and high school students), which can be done at home with common materials.

An experiment is a small repetition of the steps in the history of discovery: we observe, we wonder, and sometimes we seek and identify answers. We issue and verify hypotheses, obtain results that confirm or disprove us. To be sure of the veracity of the results, the experiment must be repeated under the same conditions. We can change certain factors and compare the results. Next comes the processing, analysis and interpretation of the data, and finally, the presentation of the conclusions.

The authors have experienced everything they propose in the book, with the help of smart and curious children, with the aim of "smoothing" the students' path to research. Kids can do these simple "home lab" experiments that will spark their curiosity. And, perhaps, one of them, years from now, will discover another miracle of life.
