SCHOOL GEOGRAPHIC ATLAS. KNOWLEDGE OF THE EARTH THROUGH AUGMENTED REALITY - CORINTH (CEDU401)
The present form of the School Geographical Atlas represents a novelty in the field of atlases of this kind, both in our country and internationally.
It is called "Knowing the Earth through Augmented Reality" because a series of maps are supplemented with augmented reality information and elements that can be accessed through the appropriate application, using a tablet or mobile phone.
Information data has been updated according to the latest sources (year 2020).
Maps with a higher degree of generality were chosen (terrestrial planiglobes and maps of continents), which facilitate a more in-depth perception of the respective spaces, in their complexity.
At the end of the atlas there are two contour maps (without names) that allow the assessment of skills and knowledge of physical geography and human geography, at the level of the planet as a whole.
In this way, the atlas opens up the possibility of very concrete, intuitive and attractive perception of the reality behind the maps.
With its help, learning geography can become a real adventure of knowledge, relating static and dynamic images.
